Day 1: Arrival in Cochin

  • Warm welcome at Cochin International Airport.
  • Transfer to the hotel and time to relax.
  • Overnight stay in Cochin.

Day 2: Cochin – Munnar (125 km / 5 hrs)

  • After breakfast, sightseeing tour of Cochin: visit the Jewish Quarter and Synagogue, Dutch Palace, and Chinese fishing nets.
  • Drive to Munnar, a scenic hill station surrounded by tea plantations, waterfalls, and lush greenery.
  • Check-in and overnight stay in Munnar.

Day 3: Munnar

  • Visit sprawling tea gardens and Tata Tea Museum to learn the tea-making process.
  • Enjoy panoramic views from hilltop viewpoints and explore local markets.
  • Afternoon at leisure.
  • Overnight stay in Munnar.

Day 4: Munnar – Periyar (99 km / 3 hrs)

  • Drive to Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary (Thekkady), one of South India’s premier nature reserves.
  • Visit a spice plantation and learn about cardamom, pepper, and cinnamon.
  • Boat ride on Lake Thekkady with possible wildlife sightings like elephants, deer, and exotic birds.
  • Overnight stay in Periyar.

Day 5: Periyar – Alleppey (140 km / 4 hrs)

  • Transfer to Alleppey, known for its scenic backwaters and houseboats.
  • Board a traditional Kerala “houseboat” for an overnight cruise through palm-fringed canals and rice paddies.
  • Meals prepared onboard with fresh local ingredients.
  • Dinner and overnight on the houseboat.

Day 6: Alleppey – Cochin (60 km / 2 hrs)

  • Breakfast onboard during the final part of the cruise.
  • Disembark and drive back to Cochin.
  • Free afternoon for optional activities: shopping, visiting art galleries, or relaxing.
  • Optional: Attend a traditional Kathakali dance performance in the evening.
  • Overnight stay in Cochin.

Day 7: Departure from Cochin

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Transfer to Cochin International Airport for your flight home or next destination.
